Tributes have poured in to a 'cheeky chappie' schoolboy who 'always had a twinkle in his eye' after he was struck by a car and killed.
Thirteen-year-old Kaylan Hippsley, from Hirwaun, Rhondda Cynon Taf, was run over while out walking after school.
He was hit by a brown Ford Fiesta in Brecon Road, Hirwaun, on February 29, and died later in hospital.
Driver Harley Whiteman, 19, was arrested following the crash in Hirwaun, South Wales, and later charged with motoring offences.
He appeared at Cardiff Magistrates' Court accused of causing serious injury by dangerous driving and failing to provide a specimen for analysis.
Kaylan's family has now paid tribute to the 'handsome' teenager who they said was a talented sportsman.
